TV.JW.ORG (September 2015) - Generation explained again
by Designer Stubble inguess the overlapping generation concept is difficult for most to comprehend.
david spane does his best to explain it again.
the cutoff date for this generation has now moved to 1992 (was once 1935), the year that fred franz died.

We fulfill prophecy! We are the measuring line for prophecy! How do you know God has appointed us as the ones? We told you so, silly. Do what we say or die at Christ's hand. We are the answer! Dipshits. -

Have my beautiful blessing from jehovah
by Ghiagirl inas my husband always says sarcastically about our newborn son, how people contradict themselves.
well he is a blessing but he is also the reason you are being shunned and were run out of the organization because you had premarital sex.
my beautiful son is finally here, and who texts and calls us the day he is born??

Congrats on the little one. Now remember, your baby isn't Df'd so they will have NO problem associating with the baby. So they stayed away till baby came, now they have an excuse to see the baby. You are right though, no religious talk at all. I would say, keep your Jeehoba off my baby! -

They've Exposed Their Hand
by OneFingerSalute inso the wtb&t$ have either intentionally or unwittingly exposed their hand in this mornings wt indoctrination article.. this is a direct quote from par.
"regardless of how long we have been in the truth, we must tell others about jehovah's organization.
" the question is, "what obligation does psalm 48: 12-14 place on us?".

Exactly, we MUST tell others the TRUTH ABOUT JEHOVAH'S ORGANIZATION. It's a cult. -

Do you find it hard to be around active JW's now?
by EdenOne ini do - actually, it's become close to unbearable.. and herein lies the paradox: i tried to fade in the illusion that i might keep contact with family and friends still "in".
was it worth it?
because not only most of them shun me anyways, but i find it almost unbearable to be around them, especially when the cult chit chat kicks in: every cute animal video clip triggers endless comments about glimpses of the future paradise and how "god did it"; those greasy praises to the organization and the governing body; the dumb awe about every jw broadcast and those cheesy music videos; the endless drivel against other religions when one knows perfectly well that we're no better than them; the endless flow of "experiences" of field service or spectacular conversions into "the truth"; the relentless congregation gossip; and so on .... i ask myself: is this why i am fading for ...?

The Witnesses, prestigeous & derogatory titles.
by The Rebel inin egland we give " deserving" & " high flyers" titles.. this morning i was thinking i should have named my son president.
i am sure it would have given him a great advantage in latter life.. so my questions:-.
do you think when a publisher becomes a " ministerial servant" or an "elder":-.
-

Often those with titles are viewed as "achieving" something and are thus more intelligent or gifted. Those who receive such titles know they are viewed differently and can't help but feel the pressure. Yes, elder is a power laden title even if one doesn't want to be viewed that way. It's the same to a lessor degree with other titles ie: ministerial servant or pioneer. Been there, done that. -

feeling of hopelessness and fear
by 060702015 indo you have feelings of hopelessness and fear for not having a religion?.
do you envy happy jehovah witnesses and living their lives carefree?.
-
Wasanelder Once
No witness lives their life carefree. There is reading, underlining or highlighting, field service, gossiping, lying about what movies they watch, chewing their tongues when they want to say "good luck", "pot luck" and "happy birthday". They watch good friends die of old age that should have made it through the big "A". And the older ones are janitors and have no retirement. All these activities and more are the reason they are so miserable. -

Village Idiot, The Russians have been arming Assad, the U.S. has been arming the rebels. Iran is in the mix too. But we cannot pretend the "Great Powers" are not involved in the problem. And those are the facts we have heard of, I am sure there is MUCH more going on behind closed doors. -

What does your baptism mean to you now?
by GiftsinMen ini was baptised on 1st sept 1990, 25years ago today.
it is still a date with deep meaning for me.
i never dedicated my life to serving any man or any organisation, this was my choice - as a grown adult - to serve my god through jesus christ.

I equate my baptism with a childish desire to find approval with man and deity. Now I could care what either think. Ergo my baptism was a child's game I really thought meant something but in the long run was just another rite of passage in this life. Unfortunately we were robbed of most others, bday's etc. It means no more than one of life's sillier moments. -

Watchtower lack of empathy for victim children stunned Royal Commission
by Esse quam videri inthe comments and facial expressions of judge peter mcclellan, the chair of the royal commission and angus stewart, though subdued, clearly showed their disbelief and disgust at the lack of compassion and empathy by the org and the elders and gb jackson when questioned.. this link, is a sobering look at the emotions people should feel at the abuse of their children.

Protecting your child is a universal right, whether its a molestation or the threat of physical violence. A father, even a mother, will go ballistic and its understood. The world is full of people who seek to fill natural desires in unnatural ways. You can't always see it coming. Education is the answer. Teach kids how to resist and to NOT clam up. Give them courage. Make them know you are in their corner. That's what this dad did very effectively. I think that victim will actually fare better because his dad KNOWS it was wrong and was forced on him, he has no guilt, his daddy beat the shit out of the guy who touched him. I think a lot of how abused children react depends on the way they are treated by their family. If they read shame, they will feel amped up shame. Unconditional love from parents has to be the one true healthy therapy. I knew a witness who's son was molested and the ahole actually called his son a fag. The boy was 12. God I hate this religion..
